The best swimming access is a small sandy area with gradual drop off. We also put the dock in this area.

The lake bottom in the beach area is relatively sandy. We wear water shoes because there is the occasional mussel shell and a few rocks.

Much of the extensive shoreline is rocky and there are great places for sitting or shore fishing.
