Cobb Pond is a small, peaceful pond hidden at the end of a one-land "road". We own the pond and the surrounding 215 acres of forest, providing lots of opportunities to explore old logging roads and trails.
Although the pond is highly secluded, it is only a 10
minute drive from the town of Newport where you'll find all the
necessities (grocery stores, gas stations) as well as restaurants, boat
rentals, a movie theater, and shopping opportunities (clothing,
antiques, crafts).
Nearby outdoor recreation opportunities are classic Vermont. The hiking and fishing options are seemingly endless and Lake Memphregog (in Newport) also offers boating and swimming on one of Vermont's largest and most picturesque lakes. There are many recreational and cultural experiences waiting for you just over the Canadian boarder as well.
